These are great machines. They are the oldest machines with the new look. Centered headlight under windshield and slick hood. Not to quick and a pretty rough ride. But too much fun to play on. Take this machine over an exciter of same year any day.

we have a 340 jag, and my dad just recently restored the body, the next thing we want to do is re-ferbish the seat.

nice, i have a 1978 jag 2000 250, might get a 3000 340 though, im looking for a couple old sleds to beat around the bush with, like an old elan or an olympique

I just got my 1979 340 Jag 3000/ free air running today. Mikuni carbs, either they work or they dont. Fuel pump kit, new (used) heads and gaskets.muffler spring and head and tail lights. Looks like a fun ride,Im praying for snow. Thanks for the post |
