The ARU estimates that the wallabies annual world wide audience is in the range of 350, 000 million and in a world cup year around the billion viewers, this figure would be probably surpased by the Australian cricket team esp when they play India and the socceroos would have to be on the 1 billion plus in a world cup year. thats why bro QANTAS sponsor the Wallabies and Jetstar the ARL team. oh yeh, and VIC, SA and WA love AFL!! Not in the same league!

Aussie rules is spectacular and exciting to watch,with so much variety in the players skills,With no offside ruling,play can go in any direction,along with differing game styles and srategies, endurance strengh, speed, toughness and individual thinking on your feet is needed. Unfortunately the same cant be said of rugby league,the game is one dimensional,and rolls in sets of six takles. It has trouble getting good crowds,and some clubs are close to bankrupt,and not making profits.
