BOTH. If someone prefers the past then go back there. You can't change it and you can't go back. If that is what one "wishes". People move on to keep themselve alive. Ones who miss the past will never grow and never see the true meaning of music. It takes bad to get good out of anything. The band have moved on to drop all the corporate controll to be who they are NOW !! It's nice to "remember" the past but not too live in it. CONTROL of any band is what kills any type music. - peace

Are you referring to a musicians perspective, or a fans? If it is the latter I know, as well as thousands others my age, EXACTLY that the present sucks in terms of music (not Heart, by any means). but if you are refering to a musicians perspective then I would not know. Perhaps you can enlighten us what it's all about? :-)

barracuda was one of my favorite songs of all time I alwasy heard hearts material on the radio and always looked forward tot heir next release. I used to cruise to this song and raced around town in a buddys cuda at teh same time it was bad assed. I think you guys should be proud of what you did but for gods sake dont redo the old stuff without the same energy as you had before. Maybe if you tried meth???

ignore me all you want but you cant ignore teh huge disparity in tempo and energy of then vs now. its like trying to get Robert Plant to redo black dog with the rest of the surviving members of zepplin aka NOT HAPPENING!!

yea obesity is sucha turn on for me too I think I'll go and eat a 6 pack of double cheese burgers from mcdonalds and then go to baskin robbins to eat a 5 gallon bucket of ice cream before I go and woo the frito lay truck driver with hundred dollar bills so I can look good at the beach this summer.

Just ignore this dork. No matter what the age or the weight, these girls still got it. And of course they have talent, which is a lot more than most present artists have. The "present" is filled with tons of artists that can't sing their way out of juvenile detention. But, hey, the kids love it. Poor saps.

It's NOTHING like you THINK it is...If you don't really know then you will NEVER know...
pythonflying (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
...If I was in a touring band relying on tickets sales from venue rentals for a living, then yea, i would be living for the present. It would be presumptuous for me to think the present is remotely any better than the past any other way.

you bet! And I dig it...

I'm guessing your life was left in the past too...
