Are you kidding? Of course he looked upset when he didn't get any votes in the last round. That doesn't mean anything except he wants to win, that is a trait every successful athlete has. It has nothing to do with cockiness. Your reaction is just stereotypical "tall-poppy syndrome".

that may be true, but it's supposed to be best and fairest, not best and modest. anyway i think the umpires don't have a clue. if they are concentrating on their job how can they possibly be assessing each players contribution to a teams effort? last year his own club voted him the best player, but not the umpires. i know whose opinion i would value most.

jimmy's a cool guy but gary should have won both years. he got mvp both years. lets see if he gets cats B&F both years, and then you gotta ask yrself wtf do the umpires know?
