A man, Ray, wakes up in a park after a serious argument with his wife the night before. He remembers little about the fight. A magpie lands in front of him, and Ray remembers the childhood rhyme "one for sorrow...". Walking through the park, more magpies, and recollections - his life, his kids... and the terrible events of the previous night. (Contains some strong language.) Made as part of my Film Studies course at Queen's University Belfast in 2006. That was really well done. I was just wondering if you did this as part of a BA or an MA or a different course? I'm thinking of doing the MA in Film in Queen's this year. Are you still studying there now?

If at all possible, I'd like to get back in touch with "Ray" (Barry Etherson). Barry and I went to school together before I moved to Scotland and I have very rarely been back to NI before now. I now go to Belfast for a couple of days at a time, once every other month and, it would be good to catch up and buy him a pint. I would be grateful if you would pass this on ti him if you can and ask him to get in touch. Damien Keegan

not as yet, deadlines for most of the main festivals were closed by the time we looked into it, but no doubt we will try in future. if we remember.
